Asiad Enterprise signs shipbuilding contract with ISIC in Nanjing, China

Asiad Enterprise marks a new milestone by signing a contract for up to six 14,000DWT Chemical/Product IMO(II) tanker new builds with China’s Jiangsu Islands Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. on 12 April 2024 with deliveries of first 2 units in 2026 and 2027.

These vessels will be using the state-of-the-art designs from various fuel saving devices. Asiad enterprise employed a pragmatic approach through newbuilding in China, striving to be a tonnage provider and asset player with green initiatives and emission reduction.

On 27 December 2019, Asiad Enterprise signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese shipbuilder, Fujian Shengfan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., in Wenzhou, China.

The construction of MT “HZ SINGAPURA”, the new 14,000 Deadweight, IMO 2 Chemical Tanker with 18 segregations, is expected to be completed and delivered in the last quarter of 2021. Flying the Marshall Islands flag, she will continue to steer Asiad Enterprise to become the regional brand for liquid bulk shipping.
